Cette maison rénovée en Espagne a eu une autre vie. C'était autrefois une ferme typique de l'Andalousie tombée à l'abandon. C'est l'architecte Francisco Ortega Ruiz de FORarquitectura qui a su lui donner une nouvelle allure, respectant ses racines rurales, mais dans un style contemporain. Tous les matériaux utilisés sont en accord avec son environnement, comme les carrelages catalans à la couleur terracotta soutenue posés dans la salle de bain, le couloir et la chambre. Un choix audacieux qui met en valeur le vert du paysage que l'on aperçoit par les fenêtres.
Des apports plus contemporains ont été ajoutés à cette maison rénovée en Espagne, comme le métal noir de la porte d'entrée et des fenêtres aux formes triangulaires, qui font un mélange réussi avec la bâtisse centenaire. Le noir est également utilisé pour la baignoire, et le plan de travail de la cuisine, un choix atypique. This renovated house in Spain has had another life. It was once a typical Andalusian farmhouse that had fallen into disuse. The architect Francisco Ortega Ruiz of FORarquitectura has given it a new look, respecting its rural roots but in a contemporary style. All the materials used are in keeping with its surroundings, such as the terracotta-coloured Catalan tiles in the bathroom, corridor and bedroom. A bold choice that enhances the green landscape seen through the windows.
More contemporary contributions have been added to this renovated house in Spain, such as the black metal of the front door and the triangular-shaped windows, which blend in well with the century-old building. Black is also used for the bathtub, and the kitchen worktop, an atypical choice.
