Le couple à la tête d'Hunting for George a rénové une maison au bord de la mer en Australie. Ils ont appliqué comme d'habitude leur goût pour le contemporain et les éléments naturels dans cette maison qu'ils ont également agrandie afin d'accueillir pendant les vacances leur famille. Car il s'agit là de leur maison familiale, et ils étaient donc bien placé pour en assurer la totale rénovation. Le projet a été long à réaliser, deux ans pour le dessiner, neuf mois pour construire l'agrandissement et modifier la distribution intérieure de la maison initiale, et voici le résultat.

Lucy Glade-Wright, cofondatrice de Hunting for George, et  son mari, le directeur marketing Jonno Rodd (également auteur des photos de cet article), ont réalisé là un de leurs projets les plus personnels. Cette maison au bord de la mer sur la great Ocean Road appartient à la famille de Jonno depuis des dizaines d'années et ils leur tenaient à coeur d'en faire une parfaite maison de vacances. Les nuances de bleu et de vert mariées au bois et au blanc sont le fil rouge d'une décoration tout en douceur pour une maison de vacances idéale pour eux. Hunting for George renovates seaside home

The couple behind Hunting for George have renovated a house by the sea in Australia. As usual, they applied their taste for contemporary and natural elements to this house, which they also extended to accommodate their family during the holidays. For this is their family home, so they were well placed to carry out a complete renovation. The project took two years to design, nine months to build the extension and change the interior layout of the original house, and this is the result.

Lucy Glade-Wright, co-founder of Hunting for George, and her husband, marketing director Jonno Rodd (who also took the photos for this article), have completed one of their most personal projects. This seaside house on the Great Ocean Road has been in Jonno's family for decades and they were keen to make it a perfect holiday home. Shades of blue and green combined with wood and white are the common thread of a softly decorated holiday home that is ideal for them.
