C'est l'architecte italien Francesco Minervini qui vit aujourd'hui dans cet appartement rénové au style mid-century en Argentine
L'architecte italien Francesco Minervini s'est installé il y a plus de 10 ans en Argentine, où il a fondé son couple et a travaille comme associé au studio CMA (Callegari Minervini et Associati). Il vit aujourd'hui dans cet appartement rénové au style mid-century, un projet très personnel qu'il a réalisé. Situé au dernier étage d'un immeuble du début du 20ème siècle dans le quartier de Retiro, cet appartement était presque totalement à l'abandon lorsqu'il l'a pris sous son aile.
Les travaux ont duré neuf mois, et ont consisté non seulement en une rénovation complète, mais également à l'amélioration de la communication entre les différentes pièces, tout en respectant leur distribution. Les éléments originaux, tels que des planchers et des fenêtres, ont été conservés. Inspiré par les grands designers et architectes industriels qui représentent le meilleur du "made in Italy", il a basé la décoration sur des éléments intemporels pour créer une atmosphère unique et authentique dans cet appartement rénové au style mid-century. Italian architect Francesco Minervini moved to Argentina more than 10 years ago, where he set up his own couple and worked as a partner in the CMA studio (Callegari Minervini et Associati). He now lives in this renovated mid-century flat, a very personal project of his. Located on the top floor of an early 20th-century building in the Retiro district, the flat was almost completely derelict when he took it under his wing.
The work lasted nine months, and consisted not only of a complete renovation, but also of improving communication between the different rooms, while respecting their distribution. Original features such as floors and windows were retained. Inspired by the great industrial designers and architects who represent the best of ‘made in Italy’, he based the decoration on timeless elements to create a unique and authentic atmosphere in this renovated mid-century flat.
