Un appartement espagnol de 62m2 inspiré par Alvar Aalto
Cet appartement espagnol de 62m2 mêle les influences méditerranéennes avec l'utilisation du vert et du jaune et le style scandinave finlandais. C'est l'architecte espagnol David Olmos et la décoratrice d'intérieur Rosa Pico qui ont réalisé ce projet, dans la ville d’Avilés, sur la côte des Asturies. Il s'agissait d'offrir pour la location saisonnière, un lieu destiné à des amateurs de design, éloigné des appartements fait de bric et de broc que l'on trouve parfois pour les vacances, et les courts séjours (voir les références en fin d'article).
Bien qu'il ne soit pas très grand, l’appartement comprend tout de même deux chambres, un salon et une petite cuisine ouverte. Les éléments d'origine comme la pierre, la brique et le parquet ont été réutilisés car en bon état, pour donner une vraie personnalité à l'appartement mais également respecter un budget serré. Ce sol en bois a été entièrement repeint en vert avec un résine adaptée, pour un hommage à l'architecte finlandais Alvar Aalto et au Helinski Design Museum qui a le même sol de couleur verte. This 62m2 Spanish flat mixes Mediterranean influences with the use of green and yellow and Scandinavian Finnish style. The Spanish architect David Olmos and interior designer Rosa Pico designed this project in the town of Avilés on the Asturian coast. The idea was to offer a place for seasonal rental for design lovers, far from the bricks-and-mortar flats that are sometimes found for holidays and short stays (see references at the end of the article).
Although not very large, the flat has two bedrooms, a living room and a small open kitchen. Original elements such as stone, brick and parquet flooring have been reused as they are in good condition, to give the flat a real personality but also to respect a tight budget. This wooden floor was completely repainted in green with a suitable resin, as a tribute to the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and the Helinski Design Museum, which has the same green floor.
