La rénovation contemporaine du Castello di Casiglio a permis de la transformer en une bâtisse confortable grâce à l'intervention de Concreta
Le Relais Castello di Casiglio à Erba n'a pas moins de 700 ans. Il est situé non loin du lac de Côme, et sa rénovation contemporaine a permis de transformer 29 chambres sur les 46 que comptait la maison en des espaces confortables grâce à l'intervention de Concreta, un entrepreneur spécialisé dans le design intérieur du Val d'Aoste. C'est l'architecte Francesco Venzi qui a conçu le projet de cet ensemble et de la conception à la fin de la rénovation, une année de réflexion et de travaux a été nécessaire pour obtenir ce résultat. Le mélange de la décoration contemporaine et de cet écrin rustique est une réussite à mettre à l'actif des professionnels qui se sont emparés du projet.
Le Castello di Casiglio est fait de murs en pierre, de plafonds avec des poutres apparentes, et de sols en terre cuite. Il n'a donc pas été nécessaire d'ajouter d'autres éléments de construction et on a préféré mettre en valeur le lieu par ce mélange entre le passé et le présent, dans un dialogue constant entre les nouveaux éléments et les anciens. Tout a été réalisé sur mesure par Concreta, dans un souci de mise en valeur des espaces, de leur respect, tout en apportant la touche moderne nécessaire à l'endroit dont la rénovation contemporaine est un bel exercice d'équilibre réussi.
The Relais Castello di Casiglio in Erba is no less than 700 years old. It is located not far from Lake Como, and its contemporary renovation has transformed 29 of the 46 bedrooms into comfortable spaces thanks to the intervention of Concreta, a contractor specialising in interior design in the Valle d'Aosta. The architect Francesco Venzi designed the project for this complex and from the conception to the end of the renovation, it took a year of reflection and work to achieve this result. The mixture of contemporary decoration and this rustic setting is a success to the credit of the professionals who took charge of the project.
Castello di Casiglio has stone walls, beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. It was therefore not necessary to add any other building elements, preferring to enhance the place by mixing the past and the present, in a constant dialogue between the new elements and the old. Everything was custom-made by Concreta, with the aim of enhancing the spaces and respecting them, while at the same time bringing the necessary modern touch to the place, whose contemporary renovation is a fine exercise in successful balance.
