Conçue par l'architecte et designer Alexander Michael, Sky Ridge une maison container familiale et australienne, située dans la Kangaroo Valley. Elle se trouve sur le mont Scanzi, et est écologique. Elle est pensée de façon à avoir un impact minimal sur l'environnement, et est totalement hors-réseaux. Construite en acier, en verre et en béton, avec une décoration inspirée par les lofts industriels, cette maison écologique est alimentée par l'énergie solaire.
L'espace intérieur est ouvert au premier niveau, et à l'étage desservit par un escalier en acier, on trouve quatre chambres. Une des salle de bain offre une vue magique sur la vallée. La décoration intérieure qui bénéficie de la présence de nombreuses œuvres d'art et des luminaires imposants, est basée sur le noir. Les portes en verre rétractables sur trois côtés font entrer l'extérieur et permettent à l'air de circuler librement tout en étant isolé des vents froids de l'hiver.

The interior space is open on the first level, and on the second level, served by a steel staircase, there are four bedrooms. One of the bathrooms offers a magical view of the valley. The interior decor, which benefits from the presence of numerous works of art and imposing light fittings, is based on black. Retractable glass doors on three sides bring the outside in and allow air to circulate freely while being isolated from the cold winter winds.
