Deux architectes ont créé l'endroit parfait pour vivre en famille dans cette maison rénovée en Argentine par leurs soins, où ils ont conservé ce qui leur semblait le plus intéressant, tout en apportant des améliorations à l'existant. Sebastián Dasseville et Gabriela Storiale qui travaillent ensemble au sein de Estudio x4arq, ont pensé leur maison familiale dans le moindre détail. Le jardin se trouve au centre de la vie familiale, accueillant avec sa piscine.
La maison est lumineuse, et s'ouvre largement sur son extérieur grâce à de grandes baies vitrées. Elle est étroite, jamais plus de 3,5m de profondeur, mais avec ses larges ouvertures, on s'y sent parfaitement bien. Les sols d'origine ont été soigneusement déposés avant d'être remis dans les pièces, une fois les travaux réalisés. Cette maison rénovée en Argentine a conservé ses murs en briques apparentes, les autres murs étant peints en blanc pour les faire ressortir. Elle a aussi gardé son toit à pignon, ses tuiles et ses parquets en pin loin d'être démodés. Au final, c'est une maison moderne qui n'a pas oublié d'où elle venait, où la famille vit joyeusement. Two architects have created the perfect place for the family to live in this home they have renovated in Argentina, where they have kept what they found most interesting, while making improvements to the existing. Sebastián Dasseville and Gabriela Storiale, who work together at Estudio x4arq, have thought out their family home down to the last detail. The garden is at the centre of the family life, welcoming with its swimming pool.
The house is bright, with large windows that open up to the outside world. The house is narrow, never more than 3.5m deep, but with its large openings, it feels perfectly comfortable. The original floors have been carefully removed and put back in the rooms after the work was completed. The renovated house in Argentina has retained its exposed brick walls, with the remaining walls painted white to make them stand out. It has also kept its gabled roof, tiles and pine floors, which are far from being out of fashion.
