Cette maison rénovée du 17e siècle était une ancienne librairie et a été construite en 1650 aux Pays-Bas. Sa rénovation contemporaine est exemplaire et si l'intérieur est totalement moderne, l'extérieur a su garder le charme de son passé. Au-dessus du portail en fer forgé de la porte d'entrée subsiste encore l'enseigne en acier découpé noir. Elle se trouve dans la jolie ville de Bloemendaal, sur la côte de la mer du Nord, au bord des dunes qui bordent les plages.
