Un studio de jardin avec des pièces cachées pour un écrivain
C'est pour l'écrivain Matthew Michael Carnahan, que l'architecte Bulent Baydar, de Harrison Design, a conçu ce studio de jardin avec des pièces cachées. Il se trouve en Virginie à Arlington. L'écrivain l'utilise aussi bien comme espace de travail que pour le divertissement, un endroit un peu à part de la maison, idéal pour s'isoler et écrire ses romans. Son architecture vitrée est séduisante et réussie, et son bardage en bois vert s'intègre bien dans son environnement forestier.
D'une surface d'environ 38m2, il possède un système d'étagères qui dissimulent les portes allant vers une salle d'eau, et un espace de rangement avec un mini bar. Il est construit à l'arrière de la maison familiale, et est équipé pour pouvoir rester toute la journée pour travailler sans avoir à entrer dans la maison principale. L' écrivain travaillait autrefois dans son sous-sol et ce studio de jardin avec des pièces cachées est forcément un endroit beaucoup plus agréable.
