Cette maison ancienne agrandie avec piscine se trouve sur l'île de Formentera aux Baléares en Espagne et se compose de deux parties à la décoration parfaitement accordée. L'architecte d'intérieur Estela Gómez a rénové cette maison en collaborant avec l'entreprise Let's Pause pour les objets et le mobilier. C'est une décoration naturelle qui a été choisie pour s'accorder avec les pierres que l'on trouve sur les murs.
Cette maison ancienne agrandie avec piscine a eu sa partie ancienne rénovée en respect avec le style de l'île. Les murs sont enduits de chaux, on trouve des poutres de bois patiné au plafond, et les fenêtres sont petites afin de conserver la fraîcheur comme il était d'usage traditionnellement. Les murs très épais aident à conserver des températures acceptables l'été même lorsqu'elles sont très élevées à l'extérieur. Et le jardin avec sa pergola et sa piscine sont une invitation à profiter de cette belle île méditerranéenne sans affronter la foule qui s'y presse en été. Photo : Jordi Sarra
This extended old house with swimming pool is on the island of Formentera in the Balearic Islands, Spain, and is made up of two perfectly coordinated sections. Interior designer Estela Gómez renovated the house in collaboration with Let's Pause for the objects and furniture. A natural decor was chosen to match the stonework on the walls.
The old part of this extended old house has been renovated in keeping with the style of the island. The walls are plastered with lime, there are patinated wooden beams on the ceiling, and the windows are small to keep in the freshness that was traditionally customary. The very thick walls help to keep temperatures acceptable in summer, even when they are very high outside. And the garden, with its pergola and swimming pool, is an invitation to enjoy this beautiful Mediterranean island without the summer crowds. Photo: Jordi Sarra
