Cette mini maison de 18m2 en bois brûlé, la KONGA M, a été construite et onçue par l'entreprise KONGA qui livre ses modèles dans toute l' Europe. La façade est recouverte de bois travaillé à la façon du Shou Sugi Ban, qui la protège naturellement contre les insectes.Car toute la réflexion de l'entreprise est basée sur l'écologie et les maisons saines. Ce nouveau modèle a été pensé pour un couple et installée dans leur propriété du Norfolk en Angleterre, afin d'être louée.
Le bois brûlé est ensuite huilé avec une huile résistante aux intempéries. Le traitement de la façade permet de protéger la maison contre le feu et les éléments et d'assurer sa durabilité pour environ 100 ans. Les emplacements bien étudiés des fenêtres créent une connexion entre l' intérieur et l'extérieur. Bien que la maison soit petite, elle peut accueillir confortablement deux à trois personnes. Tous les matériaux utilisés pour sa construction sont soit du bois massif, soit des matériaux de récupération. Le délai moyen entre la signature du contrat et la cabine entièrement installée sur site est de trois mois.
