The Landing House, une maison en bois durable et contemporaine
The Landing House est une maison contemporaine en bois située dans le désert de Mojave à Joshua Tree, conçu par l'entreprise Industry of All Nations en 2023. Pour construire cette maison aux lignes géométriques et aux façades largement vitrées, l'accent a été mis sur la durabilité des matériaux utilisés. Ce refuge moderne dans cet environnement sauvage et brut bénéficie d'un grand calme tout en respectant la nature.
Les couleurs de la maison se fondent dans celles du désert, grâce au travail de l'architecte Fernando Gerscovich, né à Buenos Aires, qui l'a conçue avec ses frères. La maison dès le départ devait respecter la géographie et les plantations du terrain. The Landing House a une hauteur raisonnable et est faite de matériaux simples nécessitant peu d'entretien. The Landing House is a contemporary wooden house located in the Mojave Desert at Joshua Tree, designed by Industry of All Nations in 2023. To construct this house with its geometric lines and largely glazed facades, the emphasis was placed on the durability of the materials used. This modern refuge in a wild, untouched environment enjoys a great deal of peace and quiet while respecting nature.
The colours of the house blend into those of the desert, thanks to the work of Buenos Aires-born architect Fernando Gerscovich, who designed it with his brothers. From the outset, the house had to respect the geography and planting of the land. The Landing House is reasonably high and made from simple, low-maintenance materials. Concrete, cedar and glass form the basis of its architecture. As it ages, the cedar façade will fade and blend naturally with its surroundings. Photo : Ye Rin Mok
