Le terrain boisé qui accueille cette maison en verre dans les Hamptons, comporte également une seconde maison. Je ne présenterai ici que la première, qui me semble la plus intéressante pour les lecteurs, vous pourrez voir toutes les photos et l'autre maison en cliquant sur le lien en bas de cet article. La maison a été conçue par le cabinet d'architecture rénommé, 1100 Architect, et c'est la plus petite des deux maisons, et sans aucun doute celle que je préfère.
Ses larges surfaces vitrées permettent de s'immerger totalement dans cet environnement fait d'arbres et de nature sauvage. Ici, pas de jardin soigneusement entretenu, ou de pelouse au gazon anglais. Tout est resté dans son aspect originel, la maison venant tout simplement se poser sur le terrain sans autre intervention humaine. Sa décoration mid-century, ses sols en béton, sa grande luminosité sont les atouts de cette propriété qui semble loin de tout bien qu'elle se trouve non loin des villes et des plages océanes. En somme, le meilleur des deux mondes.

The house was designed by the architectural firm 1100 Architect, and is the smaller of the two, and without doubt my favourite.
Its large windows allow you to immerse yourself completely in this environment of trees and wilderness. There are no carefully tended gardens or English lawns here. Everything has remained in its original state, with the house simply sitting on the land without any further human intervention. Mid-century decor, concrete floors and plenty of natural light are the assets of this property, which seems far away from everything, even though it's not far from towns and ocean beaches. In short, the best of both worlds.
