It acts as a glass box for the bedroom, separating it almost invisibly from the living room, which is painted the same colour. The decor in this Swedish flat is simple, with all the essentials present, even if we regret the absence of a proper dining room. It seems that Scandinavians don't have a tradition of inviting friends at home to share their meals (this is not a value judgement, just an observation). The dining area in the kitchen is enough for the owners to get the table set. They preferred a real office space in the living room to a dining room. But why not? Everyone is free to organise their space according to their lifestyle, and that's what's been done here.
