Installée sur une estrade en bois, abritée par une pergola, cette cuisine extérieure faite de couleurs et de récup a une allure bohème. Au-dessus de la grande table posée sur un tapis ancien acheté dans une brocante, on a installé un voile d'ombrage pour protéger les convives des ardents rayons du soleil mais en laissant passer la lumière. Qu'on l'appelle cuisine extérieure, ou bien encore cuisine d'été, cet équipement est un de ceux qui a le vent en poupe depuis quelques années. Une fois que l'on a fini la décoration et les travaux dans la maison (si c'est un jour possible !), on passe au jardin, que l'on veut aussi bien équipé et beau que son intérieur.

Ici le parti-pris est bohème, décontracté, fait d'un accord entre la tôle, un matériau très économique, le bois et la couleur apportée par les chaises, le tapis oriental, et les différents objets posés sur la crédence et le plan de travail. On réalise dans cet espace, une vraie pièce de vie, idéale pour se retrouver autour d'un bon repas, sans avoir à courir à l'intérieur de la maison pour surveiller les plats. L'ambiance est un peu nostalgique, très chaleureuse, correspondant à ce que l'on imagine d'un autre temps, mais avec un confort moderne, où l'on n'oublie pas le barbecue, la plancha, un évier, et un véritable plan de travail très pratique.

Set up on a wooden platform and sheltered by a pergola, this outdoor kitchen is made up of colours and salvaged materials, and has a bohemian feel. Above the large table set on an antique carpet bought at a flea market, a shade cloth has been installed to protect the guests from the sun's scorching rays but still let in the light. Whether you call it an outdoor kitchen, or a summer kitchen, this is one of the equipment that has been gaining in popularity over the last few years. Once you've finished decorating and working on your house (if that's ever possible!), it's time to move on to the garden, which you want to be as well-equipped and beautiful as your interior.

Here, the approach is bohemian and relaxed, combining sheet metal, a very economical material, wood and the colour provided by the chairs, the oriental rug and the various objects placed on the credenza and worktop. The result is a real living space, ideal for enjoying a good meal without having to run around the house looking after the food. The atmosphere is a little nostalgic, very warm, in keeping with what we imagine from another time, but with modern comforts, including a barbecue, a plancha, a sink and a very practical worktop.
