À environ trente minutes au sud de Lisbonne au Portugal, Casa Ferraria est une maison de vacances rurale qui était autrefois un entrepôt dans l'exploitation agricole de la Herdade da Ferraria. C'est le studio d'architecture Enter Arquitectura, qui est intervenu pour sa transformation qui a conservé les volumes de l'ancien bâtiment ainsi que certains éléments existants, comme la magnifique structure en bois du toit et le plancher du deuxième étage.
La maison se trouve dans un domaine agricole traditionnel appartenant à la même famille depuis le début du 20e siècle, et est désormais dédiée aux vacances décontractées, axées sur la détente et le yoga car les propriétaires y organisent des stages. Il y a trois bâtiments distincts, Mannaz la plus grande, où l'on peut admirer cette magnifique pièce et ses poutres, désormais décorée dans un style contemporain. On trouve également sur la propriété deux autres maisons plus petites, Kennaz et Ansuz, qui permettent d'accueillir de nombreux visiteurs. Les maisons aux toits de tuiles rouges qui ont conservées leur allure traditionnelle donnent sur une immense piscine.
About thirty minutes south of Lisbon in Portugal, Casa Ferraria is a rural holiday home that was once a warehouse on the Herdade da Ferraria farm. Architectural studio Enter Arquitectura was involved in its transformation, which preserved the volumes of the old building as well as certain existing elements, such as the magnificent wooden structure of the roof and the floor of the second floor.
The house is located on a traditional farming estate that has been in the same family since the beginning of the 20th century, and is now dedicated to relaxed holidays, focusing on relaxation and yoga, as the owners organise courses here. There are three separate buildings, Mannaz being the largest and featuring this magnificent beamed room, now decorated in a contemporary style. There are also two smaller houses on the estate, Kennaz and Ansuz, which can accommodate many visitors. The red-tiled houses, which have retained their traditional look, overlook a huge swimming pool.
