C'est un véritable refuge moderne et durable conçu pour s'intégrer dans le paysage naturel.Pour sa construction ses propriétaires ont privilégié les techniques de construction à faible impact afin de préserver l'environnement. Deux érables soutiennent le poids de la maison, et cela en total respect de ces deux arbres, qui restent en vie, et peuvent continuer de croître après l'avis d'un expert arboriste qui les a étudié. Un matériel spécialisé de sécurité a été conçu pour permettre le portage de charge, sans endommager les arbres.
La maison est construite avec des matériaux renouvelables et alimentée par des panneaux solaires, sans impacter le confort de vie quotidien. Les sols sont fait d'un mélange réalisé à partir de sable local, de paille et d'argile, qui a l'allure d'un béton. La grande pièce de vie accueille un poêle en fonte norvégien pour le chauffage, complété par un chauffage au sol. La décoration et la conception sont inspirés par l'habitat scandinave, qui a donné le nom à la maison. A l' étage , on trouve la chambre avec une belle vue sur le paysage. On y trouve également la salle de bain.

It is a modern, sustainable retreat designed to blend into the natural landscape, and was built using low-impact construction techniques to protect the environment. Two maple trees support the weight of the house, with total respect for these two trees, which remain alive and can continue to grow following the advice of an expert arborist who has studied them. Specialised safety equipment has been designed to allow the load to be carried without damaging the trees.
The house is built using renewable materials and powered by solar panels, without impacting on day-to-day living comfort. The floors are made from a concrete-like mixture of local sand, straw and clay. The large living area is heated by a Norwegian cast-iron stove, complemented by underfloor heating. The decor and design are inspired by Scandinavian living, from which the house takes its name. Upstairs, you'll find the bedroom with a beautiful view over the countryside. There is also a bathroom.
