La structure est en acier inoxydable et le moteur de l'escalier escamotable est caché dans les nouveaux meubles du salon. Cela modifie la sensation encombrante des escaliers traditionnels en le faisant disparaitre quand c'est nécessaire à l'aide d'une télécommande, et de créer ainsi sous cette mezzanine, un espace totalement libre qui sert de lieu pour faire du yoga à sa propriétaire. L'ensemble de la décoration de l'appartement est traitée dans un style sobre, mêlant les matériaux naturels, comme le bois clair, à l'acier gris. The professionals at Sim-Plex Design Studio installed a raised platform suspended 1.8 metres above the enlarged, open living space.
The structure is made of stainless steel and the motor for the retractable staircase is hidden in the new living room furniture. This changes the cumbersome feel of traditional staircases by making them disappear when needed with the help of a remote control, thus creating a totally free space underneath the mezzanine that serves as a yoga area for its owner.
