Une maison rose et rustique chic entourée par les jacarandas

La décoratrice d'intérieur Nichola Spain a rénové cette maison rose et rustique chic entourée par d'énormes jacarandas en Australie, avec son compagnon. C'est dans la région de la Sunshine Coast du Queensland qu'ils ont découvert cette maison assez délabrée qui se trouvait à côté d'un terrain qu'ils comptaient acheter pour construire une maison neuve pour passer leurs vacances.

Mais en découvrant que la maison adjacente était à vendre, ils ont préféré en faire l'acquisition, et la rénover pour lui rendre sa splendeur originelle. La maison possédait encore ses magnifiques plafonds en métal, et avait en plus une vue superbe sur le paysage australien. C'était donc l'endroit parfait pour créer leur maison de vacances. Ils se sont attelés à la tâche pendant de longs mois pour finir les travaux, et ont choisi une décoration rustique chic pour l'intérieur, en phase avec le style et l'âge de la maison. Une construction annexe accueille aussi les invités bienheureux de découvrir un tel joyau.

Interior designer Nichola Spain renovated this pink, rustic chic house surrounded by huge jacarandas in Australia, with her partner. They discovered the rather run-down house in Queensland's Sunshine Coast region, next to a plot of land they were planning to buy to construct a new holiday home.

But when they discovered that the adjacent house was for sale, they decided to buy it instead, and renovate it to bring it back to its original splendour. The house still had its magnificent metal ceilings, and also had a superb view of the Australian landscape. So it was the perfect place to create their holiday home. They toiled for many months to finish the work, and chose a rustic chic decor for the interior, in keeping with the style and age of the house. A separate building is also available for guests, who are delighted to discover such a jewel.
