L' Italie est un des grands pays pour pratiquer le ski alpin, et c'est ici que l'architecte Karl Heinz Caslunger a construit ce chalet contemporain et atypique, le Mi Chalet, près des pistes de ski des Dolomites, dans la vallée de l'Alta Badia. C'est une maison aux formes organiques spectaculaires, avec un large pignon vitré sur deux niveaux qui permet de profiter du paysage montagnard et d'illuminer largement l'intérieur. On peut également admirer les nuits étoilées, grâce à son emplacement privilégié éloigné des lumières de la ville.
La décoration est particulièrement originale et élégante, loin des clichés des chalets classiques, avec une salle à manger très personnalisée et quelques éléments audacieux, comme le mur forêt d'une des salles de bain, qui vous plonge directement dans la nature. La cheminée design française Focus qui chauffe le salon promet de belles soirées au coin du feu. L'architecte qui est un pionner de l'architecture et de la construction bois a créé ici un habitat unique, inspiré par les cabanes, mais avec des lignes totalement renouvelées.
Italy is one of the great countries for downhill skiing, and it's here that architect Karl Heinz Caslunger has constructed this contemporary and atypical chalet, the Mi Chalet, close to the ski slopes of the Dolomites, in the Alta Badia valley. It's a house of spectacular organic shapes, with a large two-storey glass gable that allows you to enjoy the mountain scenery and light up the interior. You can also admire the starry nights, thanks to its privileged location away from the lights of the city.
The decor is particularly original and elegant, far from the clichés of classic chalets, with a highly personalised dining room and some daring features, such as the forest wall in one of the bathrooms, which plunges you straight into nature. The Focus French design fireplace in the living room promises to make for cosy evenings by the fire. The architect, who is a pioneer in architecture and timber construction, has created a unique home here, inspired by cabins, but with completely new lines.
