Un studio en duplex de 29m2 avec une mezzanine

Non loin de la mer dans le sud de la Suède à Malmö, ce studio en duplex de 29m2 a été réalisé dans un immeuble construit en 1948. C'est pourtant un lieu moderne et fonctionnel que nous découvrons, dont l'aménagement est conforme à nos standards actuels. Doté d'une mezzanine qui exploite sa belle hauteur sous plafond, il présente ainsi un premier niveau consacré à la partie salon et à la cuisine.

Un escalier confortable conduit à la chambre installée à l'étage, qui est éclairé par un mur vitré de style industriel. L'espace semble bien plus grand que la surface annoncée grâce à cet aménagement intelligent sur deux niveaux. Les matériaux s'harmonisent car choisis dans des tons de gris, comme pour le sol en béton, ou la cuisine design. La fonctionnalité des lieux et sa petite surface n'empêchent pas une certaine élégance. L'ensemble de l'appartement est une réussite tant au niveau de sa décoration que de son aménagement bien pensé.

Not far from the sea in Malmö, southern Sweden, this 29m2 duplex studio apartment was built in a building constructed in 1948. Yet it's a modern, functional place to live, furnished to modern standards. Featuring a mezzanine that makes the most of its high ceilings, the first level is devoted to the lounge and kitchen.

A comfortable staircase leads up to the bedroom on the second floor, which is illuminated by an industrial-style glass wall. The space feels much larger than advertised thanks to this clever two-level layout. The materials are in harmony, as they have been chosen in shades of grey, as in the concrete floor and the designer kitchen. The functionality of the space and its small size do not detract from its elegance. The whole flat is a success, both in terms of its decor and its well-thought-out layout.
