The Cave est une maison troglodyte innovante et écologique, construite dans une grotte naturelle en retrait sur la propriété de Dunlap Hollow, où l'on trouve également une maison A-Frame et une petite maison en bois. C'est une propriété unique, car les maisons troglodytes sont peu nombreuses à découvrir, surtout lorsque comme ici, elles présentent une telle ouverture sur la nature. D'une surface de 140m2, elle a été conçue par ses propriétaires, Bryant et Amy Gingerich, et sa décoration intérieure a été assurée par Renee Byler de Burrow_Creative.
Même si de l'extérieur, elle peut sembler presque rustique, son intérieur est luxueusement aménagé, et s'accorde à merveille avec l'aspect des murs de roche brute. La lumière naturelle entre à flot à l'intérieur de la maison, grâce à sa grande façade vitrée, et elle se compose d'un grand salon avec une cuisine ouverte, et de deux chambres. Située dans la région de Hocking Hills dans l'Ohio aux USA, elle permet de s'immerger dans la nature, tout en profitant d'un lieu atypique.
The Cave is an innovative, eco-friendly troglodyte house built in a secluded natural cave on the Dunlap Hollow estate, where there is also an A-Frame house and a small wooden house. This is a unique property, as troglodyte houses are few and far between to be discovered, especially when, as here, they are so open to nature. Measuring 140m2, it was designed by its owners, Bryant and Amy Gingerich, and its interior decoration by Renee Byler of Burrow_Creative.
Although it may look almost rustic from the outside, the interior is luxuriously appointed, and complements the look of the rough rock walls perfectly. Natural light floods into the house thanks to its large glazed frontage, and it comprises a large living room with an open-plan kitchen, and two bedrooms. Situated in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio in the USA, it offers the chance to immerse yourself in nature, while enjoying an atypical setting.
