La décoration est faite de tons sobres, du vert olive, du gris et du blanc.Les plages de la mer Adriatique ne sont qu'à 15 minutes en voiture faisant de cette maison, un véritable paradis pour les vacances.
Nestling in the heart of the rolling green hills, this old house in Italy's Marche region offers breathtaking views over the countryside. This magnificent stone building, known as ‘La Pergola’, has been renovated with respect for its roots, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary comforts. The three-storey, 200 m2 house is surrounded by a garden scented with Mediterranean plants, lavender and rosemary, and outdoor life takes place on its terraces and under its pergola, as well as in the cool waters of the saltwater swimming pool.
Renovated in 2021 by architects Markus Hintermeier and Imke Brueren, who fell in love with the authenticity of the house but wanted to make it more comfortable, it has retained its old stone walls and exposed brickwork. Vintage finds, handcrafted furniture and original works of art now occupy the spaces, mixed with concrete floors, handmade tiles and design pieces by Kartell, Casa Lumi and Charles Eames. The upstairs rooms are treated like suites, each with its own private bathroom. The beaches of the Adriatic Sea are just a 15-minute drive away, making this house a real holiday paradise.
