La bâtisse de pierre qui abrite cet appartement contemporain de 81m2 fut construite en 1854 à Göteborg dans le quartier le long des douves,  qui avait a été dessiné par des urbanistes néerlandais au 17e siècle avec des bâtiments en bois, qui furent ensuite interdits par les autorités. Ce lieu totalement rénové a pris place dans un immeuble en pierres construit en 1854, qui est désormais l'un des plus anciens de la ville.
