The first thing you notice when you enter this flat is the way it's decorated. Although this is an ordinary building in Sweden dating from the 1950s, and there's nothing special about the old features, which are, it has to be said, non-existent, the charm works in this freshly-coloured 58m2 one-bedroom. It's the decoration that makes it so interesting. Formerly closed off, the kitchen has been opened up to the living room, and the two rooms have a colour-coordinated dialogue.

The green of the walls and floor tiles is matched by the pink of the sofa cushions. The wood between the two areas is of the same species, between dark oak and teak. This green colour is echoed in the entrance hall by the tone of a chest of drawers. The bedroom and bathroom are decorated in a more neutral white. A balcony overlooking the city completes this flat, which stands out above all for its decorative choices and well thought-out layout.
