Le relooking d'un grand espace ouvert pour une famille avant/après
Janine et Tim vivent avec leurs quatre jeunes enfants dans une maison à Espel aux Pays-Bas. Ils ont des goûts très différents puisqu'elle adore les tons pastel scandinaves, champêtres et chaleureux et qu'il préfère les ambiances industrielles et les matériaux naturels. Leur salon leur semblait froid et mal adapté à leur vie familiale. Ils se sont donc adressés au magazine néerlandais VT Wonen pour réaliser le relooking du grand espace ouvert de leur maison. Cette nouvelle organisation a été effectuée avec brio par la designer Liza Wassenaar qui a associé une base douce pour Janine à des meubles en béton pour Tim, avec notamment un espace de jeux pour les enfants.
Si autrefois les zones n'étaient pas réellement séparées, désormais grâce à des cloisons légères, les espaces sont bien plus distincts et chaleureux. Le blanc qui occupait tous les murs a été associé à du papier-peint, du vert et du brun clair pour devenir moins froid. Pour le relooking du grand espace ouvert, la designer a également utilisé des panneaux de bois clair qui permettent toujours une circulation facile mais donne une atmosphère plus intime à chaque pièce. Des tapis ajoutent une note moelleuse à la décoration. They have very different tastes: she loves Scandinavian pastel shades, country and warm, while he prefers industrial atmospheres and natural materials. Their living room seemed cold and ill-suited to their family life. So they turned to Dutch magazine VT Wonen for a makeover of the large open space in their home. The new organisation was brilliantly executed by designer Liza Wassenaar, who combined a soft base for Janine with concrete furniture for Tim, including a play area for the children.
Whereas in the past the areas were not really separated, now, thanks to light partitions, the spaces are much more distinct and warm. The white that used to occupy all the walls has been combined with wallpaper, green and light brown to make it less cold. For the makeover of the large open-plan space, the designer also used light wood panels, which still allow easy circulation but give each room a more intimate atmosphere. Carpets add a soft touch to the decor.
