La designer Fariz Mamedov, du studio de design FM Interiors a été chargée par son propriétaire, un jeune homme célibataire, de la rénovation d'un appartement de 45m2 où la couleur prédomine. Il fallait oser un tel mélange, et c'est parce qu'elle est une professionnelle reconnue qu'elle a réussi ce délicat exercice d'équilibre entre les diverses tonalités. Elle a également choisi de privilégier les bons éléments sans recourir à des copies, comme la lampe Flowerpot de Vernen Panton, une icone de la décoration design.
La chambre est jaune et son placard est bleu, le salon est vert vif, avec des accessoires rouge ou ocre, dans cet appartement lumineux de deux-pièces. Elle a ajouté toutes ces touches colorées sur une base scandinave qui au départ était blanche, grise et bois. Les cloisons ont été abattues, les espaces redistribués pour être plus fluides et mieux exploités. Aujourd'hui, malgré sa petite taille, cette rénovation d'un appartement de 45m2 en a fait un véritable lieu où vivre de façon optimum et avec une réelle personnalité. Designer Fariz Mamedov, from the FM Interiors design studio, was commissioned by the owner, a young single man, to renovate a 45m2 apartment where colour predominates. It took courage to attempt such a mix, and it is because she is a recognised professional that she succeeded in this delicate balancing act between the various tones. She also chose to focus on the right elements without resorting to copies, such as Vernen Panton's Flowerpot lamp, an icon of design decoration.
The bedroom is yellow and its wardrobe is blue, while the living room is bright green with red and ochre accessories in this light and airy two-room apartment. She added all these colourful touches to a Scandinavian base that was originally white, grey and wood. The partitions were knocked down and the spaces redistributed to be more fluid and better utilised.
