Récemment repensé par Marta Chrapka de Colombe Studio, cet appartement est devenu un lieu raffiné. Sa décoration mid-century met en valeur les matières sombres qui sont illuminées grâce aux hautes fenêtres orientées plein sud.
Un parquet en chevrons sombre, des murs mats et du mobilier en teck structurent l’espace. Le cuivre, le laiton et des accents corail et outremer apportent chaleur et caractère. Dans le salon, un tapis graphique s’associe à un canapé bleu marine et à des pièces vintage, tandis que la lumière est adoucie par un lampadaire en rotin et une lampe en soie. La cuisine, au cœur du projet de la rénovation de cet appartement moderniste de 60m2, mise sur des volumes généreux et des rangements discrets. In Warsaw, in the leafy Powiśle district, a 60m2 modernist flat in a building constructed in 1936 has been restored to its former glory thanks to the keen eye of designer Marta Chrapka. The building in which it is located was designed by architect Stanisław Rotberg and perfectly illustrates the Polish modernist spirit. Recently redesigned by Marta Chrapka of Colombe Studio, this flat has become a refined space. Its mid-century décor highlights the dark materials, which are illuminated by the tall south-facing windows.
Dark herringbone parquet flooring, matt walls and teak furniture structure the space. Copper, brass and coral and ultramarine accents add warmth and character. In the living room, a graphic rug is paired with a navy blue sofa and vintage pieces, while the light is softened by a rattan floor lamp and a silk lamp. The kitchen, at the heart of the renovation project for this 60m2 modernist flat, features generous volumes and discreet storage. The rounded corners and chrome chairs echo the original style.
