À Boadilla del Monte, près de Madrid en Espagne, le studio Directora Creativa, dirigé par Montse Morales a transformé une maison familiale certifiée Passivhaus en un cocon méditerranéen lumineux et chaleureux. Piscine, jardin, espaces à vivre fluides et accueillants : l’architecte d’intérieur signe ici un projet pensé pour durer, tout en respirant la simplicité élégante. Les propriétaires, Paula et Javier rêvaient d’une maison qui s’adapte enfin à leur rythme familial. La rénovation de leur maison passive en style méditerranéen et naturel a atteint leurs objectifs.
Bien que déjà certifiée Passivhaus, la maison a été repensée pour concilier fonctionnalité et chaleur méditerranéenne. Bois, fibres naturelles et teintes douces structurent l’intérieur : rien d’ostentatoire, mais un style cohérent, durable et accueillant. Le salon devient le cœur de la maison, ouvert sur le jardin, la cuisine et la salle à manger. Juste à côté, une salle de jeux vitrée permet aux enfants de jouer mais de rester sous la surveillance des adultes. À l’étage, les plafonds culminent à cinq mètres, soulignés par des poutres en bois, donnant beaucoup de charme aux chambres mansardées. In Boadilla del Monte, near Madrid, Spain, the Directora Creativa studio, led by Montse Morales, has transformed a Passivhaus-certified family home into a bright and welcoming Mediterranean cocoon. With a swimming pool, garden and fluid, welcoming living spaces, the interior designer has created a project that is built to last, while exuding elegant simplicity. The owners, Paula and Javier, dreamed of a home that would finally suit their family's lifestyle. The renovation of their passive house in a Mediterranean and natural style has achieved their goals.
Although already Passivhaus certified, the house has been redesigned to combine functionality with Mediterranean warmth. Wood, natural fibres and soft colours structure the interior: nothing ostentatious, but a coherent, sustainable and welcoming style. The living room becomes the heart of the house, opening onto the garden, kitchen and dining room. Right next door, a glass-walled playroom allows children to play while remaining under adult supervision. Upstairs, the ceilings rise to five metres, highlighted by wooden beams, giving the attic bedrooms a lot of charm. This Mediterranean-style passive house renovation is a timeless and serene success.
