Sous la direction de la décoratrice Natalia Sablina, cette maison de style anglais a trouvé une véritable personnalité. Lignes pures, textures nobles et lumière naturelle sont les éléments du dialogue subtil volumes et matières. Il fallait oser agrandir cette maison de style anglais sans en perdre l’âme. La professionnelle l’a fait avec précision et sur la base d’une bâtisse de 350m2, elle a dessiné une extension élégante, doublant la surface pour créer une maison de 750m2. Les ajouts architecturaux, baie vitrée, fenêtre ronde dans le grenier, volumes ouverts, introduisent de la lumière et du rythme.
Au rez-de-chaussée, le grand espace de vie mêle salon, salle à manger et cuisine, adoucis par une palette beige et noire. Un escalier sculptural, relie les espaces comme la colonne vertébrale de la maison. L’art contemporain, omniprésent, lie les espaces et fait vivre la décoration. À l’étage, les chambres sont décorées pour leurs occupants respectifs. On y trouve du vert mousse et rose poudré pour les enfants, et des couleurs neutres pour la suite parentale. Dehors, la nature s’invite à travers les larges fenêtres, effaçant la frontière entre intérieur et jardin. Halfway between urban style and the gentle pace of country life, this huge family home tells the story of contemporary balance. Under the direction of interior designer Natalia Sablina, this English-style house has found its true personality. Clean lines, noble textures and natural light are the elements of a subtle dialogue between volumes and materials. It took courage to expand this English-style house without losing its soul. The professional did so with precision and, based on a 350m2 building, designed an elegant extension, doubling the surface area to create a 750m2 home. The architectural additions, bay window, round window in the attic and open spaces introduce light and rhythm.
On the ground floor, the large living area combines a lounge, dining room and kitchen, softened by a beige and black colour palette. A sculptural staircase connects the spaces like the backbone of the house. Contemporary art, omnipresent, links the spaces and brings the decor to life. Upstairs, the bedrooms are decorated for their respective occupants. There is moss green and powder pink for the children, and neutral colours for the master bedroom. Outside, nature invites itself in through the large windows, blurring the boundary between interior and garden.
