Avec plus de 4 mètres sous plafond, ce petit appartement offrait un potentiel évident malgré une surface de seulement 21m2 au sol. Sa rénovation intelligente a permis d’augmenter son habitabilité sans trahir son esprit d’origine. La propriétaire, récemment retraitée et dynamique, a été séduite par ce logement malgré sa surface initiale réduite. La hauteur sous plafond exceptionnelle a immédiatement orienté le projet vers une solution verticale. L’architecte d’intérieur Margarita Posukhova a imaginé une mezzanine optimisant chaque mètre disponible. La surface habitable est passée ainsi de 21 à 29m2 fonctionnels. L’aménagement s’inspire du caractère ancien du bâtiment, revisité avec une certaine élégance contemporaine. La cliente souhaitait intégrer de nombreux rangements dans ce studio atypique de 29m2.
La cuisine et le séjour ont été déplacés près de la fenêtre existante. La chambre a trouvé naturellement sa place en hauteur, au-dessus du hall et de la salle de bain. Un escalier aérien, volontairement discret, structure l’espace sans l’alourdir visuellement. Les panneaux de bois clair et les barres en laiton renforcent cette sensation de légèreté. La mezzanine repose sur une cloison en L, assurant sa stabilité. Les poutres apparentes, simplement peintes, apportent caractère et chaleur à l’ensemble. Les teintes vertes, chères à la propriétaire, rythment subtilement les différents niveaux. With ceilings over 4 metres high, this small flat offered obvious potential despite its floor area of only 21m2. Its clever renovation has increased its liveability without betraying its original spirit. The owner, a recently retired and dynamic woman, was won over by this property despite its initial small size. The exceptional ceiling height immediately pointed the project towards a vertical solution. Interior designer Margarita Posukhova came up with a mezzanine that optimised every available metre. The living space was thus increased from 21 to 29 square metres. Its layout was inspired by the building's old character, revisited with a certain contemporary elegance. The client wanted to incorporate plenty of storage space into this unusual 29m2 studio.
The kitchen and living room have been moved closer to the existing window. Its bedroom has naturally found its place above the hall and bathroom. An airy staircase, deliberately discreet, structures the space without weighing it down visually. Light wood panelling and brass bars reinforce this feeling of lightness. The mezzanine rests on an L-shaped partition, ensuring its stability. Its exposed beams, simply painted, add character and warmth to the whole. The green tones, dear to the owner, subtly punctuate the different levels. They interact with the wood finishes and golden touches of this highly successful, atypical 29m2 studio project.
