Il est intéressant de constater combien un petit studio peut devenir pratique et agréable à vivre si sa conception est bien réfléchie. Anton et Maryam, ses propriétaires se sont lancés dans l'aménagement d'un studio de 20m2 fonctionnel pensé pour la location meublée. Leur priorité était claire dès le départ, privilégier l’ergonomie tout en soignant chaque détail visuel et tout en restant dans un budget raisonnable. L’espace existant suggérait presque naturellement une organisation simple et particulièrement logique dès l’entrée. On découvre ainsi une zone d’accueil, une cuisine, un coin repas, puis un salon. La chambre et l’espace bureau prennent place plus loin, séparés par une étagère ouverte créant presque un deux-pièces.
La cuisine linéaire mesure environ un mètre soixante, pourtant rien ne manque au quotidien. Évier, plaques, hotte, micro-ondes et réfrigérateur s’intègrent sans effort dans cet ensemble compact. Sur le plan de travail, une machine à café et une bouilloire trouvent naturellement leur place. Les murs initialement en béton ont été peints, laissant apparaître un relief discret. Le carrelage au motif terrazzo rythme les surfaces et apporte une vraie personnalité graphique. Le mobilier provient majoritairement de grandes enseignes, mêlant efficacité et touches colorées.Mais on y trouve toutefois des pièces plus personnelles, comme les deux chaises suédoises Skandiform, qui ont plus de 20 ans découvertes par Maryam. It is interesting to see how practical and pleasant a small studio can be if it is well designed. Anton and Maryam, the owners, set about designing a functional 20m2 studio intended for furnished rental. Their priority was clear from the outset: to focus on ergonomics while paying attention to every visual detail and staying within a reasonable budget. The existing space almost naturally suggested a simple and particularly logical layout from the entrance. There is a reception area, a kitchen, a dining area and then a living room. Its bedroom and office space are further away, separated by an open shelf, creating almost a one-bedroom apartment.
The linear kitchen is about one metre sixty long, yet it has everything you need for everyday life. The sink, hob, extractor hood, microwave and refrigerator fit effortlessly into this compact space. A coffee machine and a kettle find their natural place on the worktop. The original concrete walls have been painted, revealing a subtle texture. The terrazzo-patterned tiles add rhythm to the surfaces and bring real graphic personality. Most of the furniture comes from major retailers, combining efficiency with touches of colour. However, there are also more personal pieces, such as the two Swedish Skandiform chairs, which are over 20 years old and were discovered by Maryam.
