Deux appartements réunis pour créer un intérieur traversé par la lumière à Paris

Dans le 17e arrondissement de Paris, le studio CHHO a repensé entièrement les volumes de deux appartements réunis. Elle a créée ainsi un véritable appartement familial grâce à la réunion d'un trois-pièces de 70m2 et un studio de 30m2. L’agence a redistribué les surfaces, installé la nouvelle partie nuit dans l’extension. Elle a également agrandit la pièce de vie en supprimant une chambre de l’ancien trois-pièces. Le geste le plus marquant s'est joué au plafond. Dans le séjour, l’équipe a ouvert la sous-face, et a intégré le volume des combles afin de créer une double hauteur. Les fermes de charpente restent visibles et structurent l’espace.

Dans l'extension situé dans le studio nouvellement acquis, la suite s’organise autour du lit, posé comme un point central. Les professionnels ont installé une verrière en acier qui sépare la salle de bain, filtre les vues et laisse passer la lumière. Le projet a conservé le parquet existant afin d’assurer une continuité de sol entre les deux appartements. In Paris, two flats combined to create a light-filled interior

In Paris's 17th arrondissement, the CHHO studio completely redesigned the layout of two adjoining flats. It created a true family home by combining a 70m2 two-bedroom flat with a 30m2 studio. The agency redistributed the space, installed the new sleeping area in the extension. It has also enlarged the living room by removing a bedroom from the former two-bedroom flat. The most striking change was made to the ceiling. In the living room, the team opened up the underside and integrated the attic space to create a double-height ceiling. The roof trusses remain visible and structure the space.

In the extension located in the newly acquired studio, the suite is organised around the bed, which serves as a focal point. The professionals installed a steel glass wall that separates the bathroom, filters the view and lets in light. This project retained the existing parquet flooring to ensure continuity between the two flats. The materials give depth to the spaces, while the indirect lighting precisely accompanies the volumes.
