In this 42sqm two-room apartment, every choice is focused on efficiency and style. With a carefully curated color palette and simple solutions, the interior takes shape without excessive spending, resulting in a stunning makeover. In this newly delivered two-room apartment, the project began with a very simple foundation. The owner wanted an interior that could be furnished quickly, without major construction or unnecessary expenses.

The original floor plan remained as delivered, which avoided costs associated with structural modifications. Space was therefore organized around the existing layout, featuring an open kitchen, a bedroom, and a compact bathroom. The laminate flooring and existing tiles naturally found their place in the decor. This pragmatic approach stemmed from a simple idea: making the most of what was already there.

Designer Anna Danilova, commissioned by her client for the project, focused her choices on color, starting with a fresh coat of paint. The color palette plays a central role here, giving each room its own character. Olive green adds a soft depth to the entryway. Powder pink takes center stage in the kitchen area. Gray acts as a unifying element, appearing in the textiles and select pieces of furniture. This trio functions like a well-orchestrated musical score, where every note finds its place. The ivory-painted walls serve as a backdrop to balance the overall look.

Its main room is divided into three areas. The kitchen area consists of a compact linear unit with built-in storage. It was custom-made to optimize the available space. A round table and chairs occupy the dining area, illuminated by a low-hanging pendant light. The living room is furnished with a green sofa and a few lightweight pieces that are easy to move.

In the bedroom, a walk-in closet was created using a piece of furniture that divides the room in two. Textiles play an important role here, featuring blends of cotton and linen. In the bathroom, the existing fixtures provided by the developer were complemented by functional furniture. The countertop incorporates the washing machine, while the storage units allow for efficient organization. Photo: Natalia Vershinina
