Dans le quartier prisé des Invalides à Paris, un couple d'architectes, Marc Sirvin et sa femme, Clémence Eliard, de l'agence SML, ont rénové cet appartement tout en hauteur. 25m² seulement répartis sur 4 niveaux, et de la lumière naturelle provenant uniquement du plafond. Les six mètres de hauteur ont été parfaitement exploités en un salon, cuisine, bureau et zone couchage, sans oublier bien entendu les rangements nécessaires et la salle de bain. En quatre mois, l'ancien local sombre est devenu ce petit appartement destiné plutôt à une personne ou un jeune couple, pour un coût estimé de 3000 € par mètre carré rénové. Photo : Hervé Abbadie

In the prestigious district of Les Invalides in Paris, a couple of architects, Marc Sirvin and his wife, Clémence Eliard, of SML agency, have renovated this high-rise apartment. Only 25m² distributed on 4 levels, and natural light coming only from the ceiling. The six metres high was perfectly exploited in a living room, kitchen, office and sleeping area, without forgetting of course the necessary storage space and the bathroom.
