The place had been inhabited by a family until the 1980s, then became an artist's studio in the 1990s and 2000s, and then was abandoned for almost fifteen years. When Joan and her friend bought it, all that was left were the walls, floors and roof, everything inside had been demolished. Falling in love with the facade, the wooden beams, the patio, the beautiful ceiling height, they decided to create two very functional and cosy apartments of 40 m2 each. The architectural project focused on preserving as much as possible the original elements, combined with new elements that respect the spirit of the place.
