La rénovation minimaliste d'un appartement d'architecte

La rénovation dans un style minimaliste de cet appartement a été menée par son propriétaire, Juan Montoliu à la tête du studio de design et d'architecture intérieure Montoliu Hernández. Dans un bâtiment situé à Valence en Espagne, et datant de 1920, il en a révélé les beaux éléments d'origine comme les carreaux de ciment typiques très colorés, et les briques anciennes qui ont été peintes en blanc pour obtenir plus de luminosité. Combinant tradition, artisanat et design, il a mis en valeur les volumes originaux, découvrant sous les plâtres et les faux plafonds, la structure mixte de poutres métalliques et des poutres en bois en parfait état. The minimalist renovation of this flat was carried out by its owner, Juan Montoliu, head of the Montoliu Hernández design and interior architecture studio. In a building located in Valencia, Spain, and dating from 1920, he revealed the beautiful original elements such as the typical colourful cement tiles and the old bricks that were painted white to obtain more luminosity. Combining tradition, craftsmanship and design, he has highlighted the original volumes, uncovering under the plaster and false ceilings, the mixed structure of metal beams and wooden beams in perfect condition.
