Renovation of a bright 1960s flat

Owned by the same family for 40 years, this luminous 1960s flat needed a total renovation. Créateurs d'intérieur, a collective of interior architects in Lyon, was commissioned to carry out the project by the granddaughter of the former owner, her grandmother. She had very specific ideas, helped by her mother who had spent her entire childhood there. This beautiful flat with its many windows was a pleasant place to live in, and it had to be modernised according to contemporary needs, which is what was done here.

The interior designer therefore focused on the areas of transition by optimising the openings in the entrance hall, the living room and the kitchen. He also created a colour harmony that energises the white walls, with blue (note the painted ceiling in the kitchen, an original idea to enhance the style of this room) combined with saffron yellow, as well as black and grey, to bring a real contemporary signature to this 1960s flat.
