Ce duplex à Séville en Espagne est né de la réunion de deux appartements de 60m2 chacun, dans lequel un escalier design a été installé par U+G Arquitectura pour un jeune couple et leurs deux enfants. L'appartement bénéficie d'une lumière traversante et donne à l'arrière sur une cour privée qui le transforme presque en maison de ville. Les propriétaires, des amateurs d'architecture contemporaine avaient besoin de trois chambres dont celles des enfants devaient être polyvalentes.
La cuisine a été placée au centre du duplex, et forme avec le salon et sa cheminée une véritable family room. Multifonctionnelle, elle accueille également un espace repas, et est construite sur mesure dans une déclinaison de bois chaud et de noir. L'escalier en métal plié est noir également, et pour contraster avec tous ces éléments, la couleur est apportée par le jaune qui a été utilisé pour créer une sorte de boîte qui contient la buanderie et des toilettes. L'ensemble est à la fois moderne et chaleureux, parfaitement adapté désormais à la vie d'une famille avec des jeunes enfants. This duplex apartment in Seville, Spain, was created by combining two 60m2 flats, for which a designer staircase was installed by U+G Arquitectura for a young couple and their two children. The flat has a lot of light coming in and out of it and has a private courtyard at the back, which almost turns it into a townhouse. The owners, lovers of contemporary architecture, needed three bedrooms and the children's rooms had to be multi-purpose.
The kitchen was placed in the centre of the duplex, and together with the living room and its fireplace forms a family-room. The kitchen is multi-functional and also houses a dining area, and is custom-built in a warm wood and black colour scheme. The folded metal staircase is also black, and to contrast with all these elements, colour is provided by the yellow that has been used to create a sort of box that contains the laundry room and toilets. The whole is both modern and warm, perfectly suited now to the life of a family with young children.
