Un ancien atelier d'artiste transformé en appartement avec vue

C'est installé dans l'ancien atelier d'artiste du peintre et sculpteur suédois Peter Dahl, que nous découvrons cet appartement qui possède une vue magnifique sur le lac Mälaren et les îles Essinge. La baie vitrée de cinq mètres de large permet de dominer le paysage et de profiter de couchers de soleil incroyables. Comme il s'agit là d'un ancien lieu de travail, il dispose d'un aménagement atypique, avec une grande pièce ouverte, l'ancien atelier d'artiste, et deux chambres mansardées aux surfaces modestes, dont une seule est éclairée par une fenêtre de toit, l'autre recevant la lumière grâce à sa porte vitrée donnant sur le salon.

De nombreux détails raffinés d'origine ont été conservés comme les portes intérieures typiques avec leurs poignées en bakélite, les radiateurs cylindriques installés au plafond, et le sol en linoléum. Bien entendu, comme il s'agit d'un studio pour peindre, il est orienté au nord, ce qui ne l'empêche pas d'être très lumineux grâce à ses nombreuses fenêtres. Sa décoration design est inspirée par les belles créations vintage du mid-century pour matcher parfaitement avec l'esprit d'origine du bâtiment construit par l'architecte Nils Lindberg en 1948.

Former artist's studio transformed into a flat with a view

This flat is located in the former artist's studio of the Swedish painter and sculptor Peter Dahl, and has a magnificent view of Lake Mälaren and the Essinge Islands. The five-metre wide French window allows you to look out over the landscape and enjoy the incredible sunsets. As a former workplace, it has an atypical layout, with a large open-plan room, the former artist's studio, and two modestly sized attic rooms, only one of which is lit by a roof window, the other receiving light through its glass door to the living room.

Many fine original details have been retained, such as the typical interior doors with their bakelite handles, the cylindrical radiators in the ceiling, and the linoleum floor. Of course, as it is a painting studio, it is north-facing, which does not prevent it from being very bright thanks to its many windows. The design is inspired by beautiful vintage mid-century creations to match the original spirit of the building constructed by architect Nils Lindberg in 1948.
