Un duplex réorganisé et rénové pour une famille en Espagne
Les propriétaires de cet appartement sur deux niveaux à Barcelone en ont vu immédiatement le potentiel. Mais la disposition originale ne leur convenait pas, c'est pourquoi ils ont demandé à la designer Laura Ehlis de le repenser. Et avec un duplex réorganisé et rénové, ils ont obtenu le lieu idéal pour abriter leur famille avec enfants. Les deux niveaux accueillent désormais les espaces bien définis : le premier pour les enfants, le second pour les parents.
La designer a également déplacé l'escalier d'origine qui se trouvait au milieu du salon, et l'a installé sur un des côtés de la pièce. La cuisine est une autre des pièces qui a le plus profité de la rénovation en étant désormais séparée du salon par une cloison vitrée qui permet à la lumière de circuler au mieux dans les deux espaces. On lui a ajouté un grand îlot, un élément contemporain très pratique pour gagner du plan de travail. Le mur vert côté salle à manger apporte une note de couleur bienvenue dans l'univers très sage de ce duplex réorganisé et rénové, qui est devenu parfait pour la famille désormais. The owners of this two-storey flat in Barcelona saw the potential immediately. But the original layout didn't suit them, so they asked designer Laura Ehlis to rethink it. And with a redesigned and renovated duplex, they got the perfect place to house their family with children. The two levels now house the well-defined spaces: the first for the children, the second for the parents.
The designer also moved the original staircase from the middle of the living room to one side of the room. The kitchen is another room that has benefited most from the renovation, as it is now separated from the living room by a glass partition that allows light to flow through both spaces. A large island has been added, a very practical contemporary feature to increase work surface space. The green wall on the dining room side adds a welcome touch of colour to the very quiet atmosphere of this redesigned and renovated duplex, which has become perfect for the family.
