In the house, the waxed concrete floors, the bleached wood ceilings and the almost minimalist contemporary decoration are a tribute to the simple and beautiful fishermen's houses of the region. Not far away, you can go to Tróia, to the "Casas Na Areia" ("houses with their feet in the sand"), a hamlet created on the dune by the Portuguese architect Manuel Aires Mateus.
