La designer Sol Palou et son mari l'architecte Christian Boix Mansilla à la tête du studio Grupo Pauta, ont conçu pour eux mêmes cette maison paisible à la décoration contemporaine. Elle est à la fois leur lieu de travail et leur habitation, entourée de nature mais non loin de la ville. Elle est largement connectée avec son extérieur, où l'on trouve des espaces aménagés comme des pièces supplémentaires de la maison.

Cheminée, salle à manger et salon font partie de ces espaces où l'on vit le plus souvent au long de l'année, lorsque le temps le permet. A l'intérieur de cette maison paisible, la décoration contemporaine fait appel aux couleurs sobres et au vert doux, au bois et au noir. La maison est très lumineuse grâce aux larges baies vitrées, et représente tout ce que ce couple aime en terme d'habitat : sobriété, fluidité, ouverture sur l'extérieur, facilité du quotidien et beauté simple.  Photo : Daniel Karp

Peaceful house for a designer and an architect in Argentina

Designer Sol Palou and her husband, architect Christian Boix Mansilla, head of the Grupo Pauta studio, have designed this peaceful house with contemporary decor for themselves. It is both their workplace and their home, surrounded by nature but not far from the city. It is largely connected to the outside world, where there are spaces that have been converted into additional rooms in the house.

The fireplace, dining room and living room are among the spaces where people live most of the time throughout the year, weather permitting. Inside this peaceful house, the contemporary decor uses sober colours and soft green, wood and black. The house is very bright thanks to the large windows, and represents everything this couple likes in terms of living: sobriety, fluidity, openness to the outside, ease of living and simple beauty.  Photo: Daniel Karp
