Une maison familiale ouverte et chaleureuse à Barcelone
C'est à quelques minutes du centre de Barcelone que Nuria Vila, cofondatrice de la marque d'accessoires pour bébé Babyshower, et son mari ont trouvé l'endroit où ils voulaient vivre. Après avoir tout démoli à l'intérieur et tout reconstruit, elle est devenue la maison familiale ouverte et chaleureuse dont ils rêvaient. Ils ont confié les travaux de rénovation au studio d'architecture Nook, qui en démolissant les plafonds a trouvé une belle surprise : des voûtes au style catalan qui donne une grande personnalité aux pièces.
Pour la décoration, ils ont choisi un style qui mêle le rustique et le contemporain, et ont sélectionné du mobilier qu'ils ont trouvé après de nombreuses recherches dans différents endroits. La maison est très lumineuse avec ses grandes fenêtres à l'ancienne, avec des petits carreaux qui lui donnent un aspect presque anglais. La cuisine qui est un point essentiel pour cette famille, a été trouvée par hasard, alors qu'ils se trouvaient dans un restaurant et qu'ils ont remarqué ces meubles. Les propriétaires du restaurant leur ont donné l'adresse où ils l'avaient trouvée (Mercantic) et ils ont fait la même chose. Just a few minutes from the center of Barcelona, Nuria Vila, co-founder of baby accessories brand Babyshower, and her husband found the place they wanted to live. After demolishing everything inside and rebuilding, it became the warm, open family home of their dreams. They entrusted the renovation work to the Nook architectural studio, who, while tearing down the ceilings, found a nice surprise: Catalan-style vaulted ceilings that give the rooms a great deal of personality.
For the decor, they chose a style that blends the rustic and the contemporary, and selected furniture that they found after much searching in different places. The house is very bright, with large old-fashioned windows and small panes that give it an almost English feel. The kitchen, which is a key point for this family, was found by chance, when they were in a restaurant and noticed the furniture. The restaurant owners told them where they found it (Mercantic) and they did the same. And its style blends in perfectly, giving this warm, open-plan family home a unique flair.
