La designer Liza Wassenaar a combiné le gris/vert et le rose pour la nouvelle décoration aux formes et aux couleurs douces pour la maison d'une famille recomposée aux Pays-Bas. Sven et Annemarie vivent depuis cinq ans dans le nord de la Hollande, avec leurs deux fils, et la fille de Sven. La maison nécessitait un nouveau style qui plairait à l'ensemble de la famille. La designer a choisi tout d'abord de changer les sols du rez-de-chaussée avec un parquet clair dans le salon, et un béton poli de couleur grise dans la cuisine, des choix assez neutres pour être intemporel.
Ensuite, elle a mélangé les tons clairs, ajoutant un gris presque vert aux divers éléments, et de l'acier noir afin que l'intérieur ne soit pas trop marqué comme "féminin", à cause de la présence du rose. La cuisine en bois est un autre des éléments intemporels de la maison, avec son carrelage en zelliges. Cette décoration aux formes et couleurs douces s'est prolongé jusque dans la chambre du couple, en parfaite cohésion avec les pièces communes.

Sven and Annemarie have been living in the north of Holland for five years, with their two sons and Sven's daughter. The house needed a new style that would appeal to the whole family. Firstly, the designer chose to change the flooring on the ground floor with light parquet in the living room and grey polished concrete in the kitchen, choices that were neutral enough to be timeless.
Then she mixed light tones, adding an almost green grey to the various elements, and black steel so that the interior didn't come across as too 'feminine' because of the presence of pink. The wooden kitchen is another timeless feature of the house, with its zellige tiling. This decor, with its soft shapes and colours, extends into the couple's bedroom, in perfect harmony with the shared rooms.
