Le couple qui a reçu en héritage cette maison a confié sa rénovation à l'architecte Lala Loviscek. Elle avait une grande valeur sentimentale pour eux, et ils souhaitaient la conserver, mais elle était vieillissante et trop petite pour leur famille. Comme le terrain où elle se trouve le permettait, le projet a consisté à en faire une maison blanche avec piscine rénovée mais en plus agrandie pour correspondre à leurs besoins.
La maison se trouve dans la région de Buenos Aires, en Argentine, dans la ville de Del Viso. L'architecte l'avait déjà rénovée pour d'autres membres de la famille avant ceux-ci il y a une vingtaine d'années, mais le style années 1960 qu'elle avait ne convenait pas à ses nouveaux propriétaires. La structure de cette maison a été conservée, mais le reste totalement changé, avec désormais des espaces ouverts, et une cuisine installée à la place d'un ancien garage. Avec son agrandissement, la maison est passée de 130 à 310m2 , a été entièrement peinte en blanc et a été ouverte sur les espaces verts. The couple who inherited this house entrusted its renovation to the architect Lala Loviscek. It had great sentimental value for them, and they wanted to keep it, but it was ageing and too small for their family. As the land on which it stands allowed for this, the project involved turning it into a white house with a swimming pool, renovated but also extended to suit their needs.
The house is located in the Buenos Aires region of Argentina, in the town of Del Viso. The architect had already renovated it for other members of the family before them some twenty years ago, but the 1960s style it had was not suited to its new owners. The structure of the house has been retained, but the rest has been completely changed, with open spaces and a kitchen installed in place of an old garage. With its extension, the house has grown from 130 to 310m2, has been entirely painted white and has been opened onto the green spaces.
