Les architectes d'intérieur Luis Peixoto et Rubén da Silva de Brákara Studio ont réalisé la rénovation de cet appartement de 50m2 parfaitement optimisé désormais à Barcelone. Situé dans le quartier historique de l'Eixample, il présente des solutions astucieuses. Ainsi, dans la pièce de vie, qui sert à la fois de salon et de cuisine, la place manquait pour un téléviseur classique. C'est donc un home cinema qui a été installé, avec un projecteur avec un système audio intégré et un écran qui se cache dans le plafond, au-dessus de l'îlot de cuisine, lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé.
L' appartement a conservé ses éléments d'origine qui ont été intégrés à une décoration contemporaine. On peut toujours admirer le plafond voûté catalan , les carreaux de ciment anciens récupérés qui délimitent la cuisine et le salon, ou les portes restaurées, qui s'associent aux espaces ouverts nouvellement créés pour laisser circuler la lumière. La salle à manger a été installé dans un dégagement qui était assez vaste pour être exploité de cette façon. L'entrée de cet appartement de 50m2 parfaitement optimisé est équipé avec un fauteuil lit pour une personne qui peut être dissimulé par un léger rideau en lin, pour accueillir les amis de passage. Interior architects Luis Peixoto and Rubén da Silva of Brákara Studio have renovated this perfectly optimised 50m2 flat in Barcelona. Located in the historic Eixample district, it features some clever solutions. In the living room, which doubles as a lounge and kitchen, there was no room for a conventional television set. So a home cinema system was installed, with a projector with an integrated audio system and a screen that hides in the ceiling above the kitchen island when not in use.
The flat has retained its original features, which have been integrated into a contemporary decor. You can still admire the Catalan vaulted ceiling, the reclaimed old cement tiles that delineate the kitchen and living room, or the restored doors, which combine with the newly created open spaces to let the light in. The dining room was installed in a hallway that was large enough to be used in this way.
