Cette petite maison de 40m2 construite par des architectes se trouve en pleine nature à la point sud de l'archipel de Stockholm, dans une réserve naturelle de 400 hectares. Conçue par Andreas Martin-Löf et Tobias Vernon cofondateurs du studio de design londonien 8 Holland Street, elle fait partie d'un ensemble nommé Landet Stay, fait de petites maisons du même style, 4 déjà construites pour l'instant, mais qui à terme seront 10, conçues pour 4 personnes, offrant une vue imprenable sur la forêt et la mer.
Ces petites maisons écologiques se tiennent au sommet de fondations de socles simples pour avoir une empreinte minimale sur le sol. Il est prévu que si elles devaient disparaitre, le site reviendrait rapidement à son état initial. L'intérieur fusionne le bois et une palette de couleurs naturelles, comme le beige ou le bordeaux. L' ameublement est contemporain, et les espaces de vie ouverts donnent sur le paysage sauvage à travers les larges baies vitrées. Le design est principalement scandinave conférant aux espaces une atmosphère chaleureuse et accueillante. La grande terrasse en bois permet de profiter au mieux de cet environnement intouché.
This small 40m2 house built by architects is set in the middle of nature at the southern tip of the Stockholm archipelago, in a 400-hectare nature reserve. Designed by Andreas Martin-Löf and Tobias Vernon, co-founders of the London-based design studio 8 Holland Street, it is part of a series called Landet Stay, made up of small houses in the same style, 4 already built at the moment, but which will eventually be 10, designed for 4 people, offering uninterrupted views of the forest and the sea.
These small eco-friendly houses stand atop simple plinth foundations to have a minimal footprint on the ground. It is anticipated that if they were to disappear, the site would quickly return to its original state. The interior combines wood with a palette of natural colours, such as beige and burgundy. The furnishings are contemporary, and the open-plan living areas look out over the wild landscape through the large picture windows. The design is predominantly Scandinavian, giving the spaces a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The large wooden terrace makes the most of this unspoilt environment.
