Un appartement design de 124m2 aux accents londoniens
Cet appartement design de 124m2 est signé MAKE DESIGN et a été pensé pour une famille cosmopolite : un physicien nucléaire, une historienne de l’art et politologue, et leurs deux filles. Leur souhait ? Un intérieur lumineux, fonctionnel et chaleureux, avec une touche anglaise rappelant leurs longs séjours londoniens. Le cœur de l’appartement s’organise autour d’une cuisine-salon repensée. Une cloison habilement placée sépare l’espace repas du coin TV. Côté cuisine, les façades grises mates et la crédence en pierre artificielle jouent avec la lumière. Côté salle à manger, un mur vert texturé en plâtre, une couleur typiquement britannique, donne le ton, tandis que le salon s’ouvre sur un canapé accueillant, un fauteuil et des lampadaires aux lueurs douces.
Dans la chambre parentale, la linéarité est reine : murs gris habillés de lattes, tête de lit aux coutures marquées et miroirs discrets qui agrandissent visuellement la pièce. Malgré ses dimensions réduites, la chambre respire grâce à cette astuce. Le défi principal dans cet appartement design de 124m2 assez sombre, était d'apporter un maximum de lumière naturelle. Les designers ont multiplié les bonnes idées : ouverture élargie vers le bureau, portes vitrées cannelées, loggia optimisée en espace de travail. Chaque mètre carré a trouvé sa fonction, entre bibliothèque sur mesure et bureaux isolés, pour répondre aux besoins d’une famille férue de science et d’art. Photo : Mikhail Chekalov. This 124m2 design apartment is signed by MAKE DESIGN and was conceived for a cosmopolitan family: a nuclear physicist, an art historian and political scientist, and their two daughters. Their wish? A bright, functional, and warm interior, with an English touch reminiscent of their long stays in London. The heart of the apartment is organised around a redesigned kitchen-living room. A cleverly placed partition separates the dining area from the TV corner. On the kitchen side, the matte grey facades and the artificial stone backsplash play with the light. On the dining room side, a textured green plaster wall, a typically British colour, sets the tone, while the living room opens onto a welcoming sofa, an armchair, and floor lamps with soft lighting.
In the master bedroom, linearity reigns: grey walls dressed with slats, a headboard with marked seams, and discreet mirrors that visually enlarge the room. Despite its small size, the room breathes thanks to this trick. The main challenge in this quite dark 124m2 design apartment was to bring in as much natural light as possible. The designers came up with a multitude of good ideas: a widened opening towards the office, fluted glass doors, a loggia optimised as a workspace.
