Un même appartement, 5 décors, 5 pays Ikea Lab a mis au défi 5 architectes d'intérieur de différents pays de décorer le même appartement de 56m² pour une famille typique. Et voici le résultat en images ! Les designers d'Espagne, de Chine, d'Allemagne, de Pologne et des Etats-Unis ont été invités à interpréter ce lieu chacun avec sa propre vision particulière. Ma conclusion ? Si on peut remercier Ikea d'avoir introduit partout dans le monde un design accessible, on peut toutefois regretter une certaine uniformisation des décors. En effet, sans savoir qui a fait quoi, il est difficile de trouver des éléments caractéristiques qui signent une décoration et font dire "oh, ça on voit bien qu'on est en Espagne, en Pologne ou en Chine" ! Même si cela reste très réussi, la différence se fait surtout sur les scénarios imaginés.

One apartment, 5 designs, 5 countries
Ikea Lab challenged 5 interior designers from different countries to decorate the same 56m² apartment for a typical family. And here is the result in pictures! Designers from Spain, China, Germany, Poland and the United States were invited to interpret this place each with its own particular vision. My conclusion? While we can thank Ikea for introducing accessible design throughout the world, we can regret a certain standardization of the designs. Indeed, without knowing who did what, it is difficult to find characteristic elements that sign a decoration and make people say "oh, we can see that we are in Spain, Poland or China"! Even if it remains very successful, the difference is mainly in the scenarios imagined.
ESPAGNE
Iria García Alonso Lamberti e conçu l'espace comme un nouvel appartement que la famille a choisi lorsqu'elle a découvert qu'elle allait avoir un deuxième enfant.Sa palette de couleurs est claire et centrée sur des couleurs pastel douces et des touches de blanc.
SPAIN
Iria García Alonso Lamberti conceived the space as a new apartment that the family chose when they discovered they were going to have a second child, with a light colour palette centred on soft pastel colours and touches of white.
ÉTATS-UNIS
Kristin Marie Perez a imaginé que la grand-mère resterait avec la famille plusieurs nuits par semaine pour donner un coup de main aux enfants, pour lesquels elle a créé une solution de repos parfaite dans le salon pour ces jours.
UNITED STATES
Kristin Marie Perez imagined that the grandmother would stay with the family several nights a week to help the children, for whom she created a perfect sleeping solution in the living room for those days.
CHINE
Pour Casper Xu il s'agit d' un jeune couple qui vient de recevoir un nouveau membre de la famille il y a six mois, lorsque la grand-mère est allée vivre avec eux. La famille s'intéresse beaucoup à la santé, à la nutrition et à la nature, elle adore les plantes et utilise des couleurs et des matériaux naturels pour la décoration.

For Casper Xu it is a young couple who just received a new family member six months ago, when the grandmother went to live with them. The family is very interested in health, nutrition and nature, loves plants and uses natural colours and materials for decoration.
ALLEMAGNE
Konrad Pichlmeier, a imaginé que la famille vit dans un appartement loué depuis six ans et l'ont adapté à leurs besoins, en créant une maison aux couleurs accentuées aux bons endroits et une bonne organisation grâce à toutes les solutions d'agencement intelligent.
GERMANY
Konrad Pichlmeier, imagined that the family has been living in a rented apartment for six years and have adapted it to their needs, creating a house with bright colours in the right places and a good organisation thanks to all the clever furnishing solutions.
POLOGNE
Les designers polonais Katarzyna Jaros-Puzio et Katarzyna Kosiba-Seweryn ont mis en place ce scénario : une jeune famille a demandé à la grand-mère s'ils pouvaient revenir vivre temporairement avec elle pour pouvoir épargner et ainsi construire leur maison. En tant que propriétaire de l'appartement, la grand-mère aurait la plus grande chambre, les enfants partagnt la plus petite chambre et les parents utilisent le canapé-lit dans le salon.
POLAND
Polish designers Katarzyna Jaros-Puzio and Katarzyna Kosiba-Seweryn put this scenario in place: a young family asked the grandmother if they could come back to live temporarily with her so they could have some savings to build their home. As the owner of the apartment, the grandmother would have the largest bedroom, the children would share the smallest bedroom and the parents would use the sofa bed in the living room.
